Transport for London’s Direct Vision Standard, or DVS, measures how much a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driver can see directly through their cab windows. This indicates the level of risk to vulnerable road users, such as people walking and cycling, near the vehicle. Operators of lorries over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight are required to obtain a safety permit before entering and operating in most of Greater London.  The standard is in operation 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Blenheim Shipping is fully compliant with the DVS initiative due to our commitment to servicing our existing and future customer base.  Find out more information here
